おんがく

私は、おんがくが　だいすきです。私は、たくさんﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞをききます。私 のfavorite　の ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞ（band）は Spill Canvasです。でも、もっと　ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞを もすきです。せんしゅう,　They Might Be Giants のｺﾝｻｰﾄ（concert）にいきました。とてもたのしかったです！いま、私は　Frailをききます。ともだちのﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞです。Frailは　だいすきです。いい ですよ。でも、Frailのｺﾝｻｰﾄに　ぜんぜんいきません。Favoriteの うた（song）が　ありません。でも、いまBedlam Boys が　だいすきです。Folkの うたです。

あきよすみ

せんしゅう　は　Connecticut　Renaissance Faire　に　いきました。　かね　と　ともだち　に　あいました。　わたし　は　ばんごはん　を　かぞく (family)　と　たべました。　Stage show　で　うたいました　(sang)。ともだち　の　しゃしん　を　とりました。　おみよげ　を　かいました。　わたし　は　たくさん　ひと　を　あいました。　わたし　は　あまろねませんでした　(I don't think that's the proper way to phrase that, so feel free to correct me).

これ　は　　ともだち　の　しゃしん　です。

I am taking Japanese this year because it is one of the several languages I want to learn, and I have a friend who offered to tutor me. Also, because I have so many friends already taking Japanese, it's a very good opportunity to practicing speaking to one another. I'm an anthropology major, and am currently taking Anthropology of East Asia to tie Japanese into my major.
